Camping at Ladies Well – Allyn River Camp Ground

On your way there, you will pass the notorious ‘Boot Hill’, where you will find hundreds (possibly thousands) of sneakers, thongs, boots, skis, bras, singlets and anything else you can imagine tied to the fence and hung in the tree. It’s a great spot – we’re going this weekend!

Awesome!! Are you camping or just heading for a day trip?

You’ve hit on something in this post for me – what stops me about day trips is the travel time vs the time spent at a place! I gotta get over that…

    • 02/01/2017 / 9:40 am

I should add – that’s because I’m the sole driver and while I find driving useful, I don’t really enjoy it as such so it feels like more ‘bad’ time than ‘good’ on day trip.

We have always been big on road trips / day trips and just general exploring so time doesn’t worry us too much but this particular drive has so much beauty to be seen.
